One of the most recent condominium complexes in Maui is the Honua Kai Resort & Spa. It is located at the northern end of Kaanapali Beach. The resort has completed two phases of construction: the Hokulani Enclave was completed in February 2009 and the Konea Enclave was completed in January 2010. Duke’s Beach House is Honua Kai’s main restaurant. It is open every day and serves meals as well as beverages right by the pool. Aina Gourmet Market is available for quick and simple meals, and Whalers General Store sells toiletries, gifts and other outdoor gear. Kaanapali is often referred to as Maui’s most touristy and congested destination. However, it has easy access to Lahaina or Kapalua. There are many things to do, including shopping, dining, entertainment, and even live music.
